We are the body of Christ at St. Nicholas, parishioners of every sexual orientation and gender identity. We gather with family and friends for prayer and support, and to witness to the Good News of inclusion. We engage our community through education and outreach, and strive to live our Catholic ideals with dignity, respect, and justice.

The Ministry meets on the second Sunday of the month after the 9:00 Mass. We meet for prayer, reflection, support, and information. For more information, or to find the location of meetings, please call the parish office at (847) 864-1151.

The St. Nicholas Gay and Lesbian & Family and Friends Ministry maintains a private mailing list through Yahoo! Groups. It is limited to those in the local area who are interested in attending meetings and events. To request participation, please visit the group’s home page and click the button that says “Join this group!”

Blessing for the 10th anniversary of the ministry, written by David Philippart and Rev. Robert Oldershaw.
